A harvest festival was held on Wednesday by the Educational Alliance. Seventy six children who grow vegetables on communal working ground opposite the headquarters of the Alliance took part in the festival.
First prize for the best product was awarded to eleven year old Abraham Tepper; second prize to Louis Dishler, 11 and third prize to Milton Pomerantz, twelve.
