Serious Anti-semitic Clashes Occur in Roumanian Town; Police Arrive 2 Hours Later

Serious anti-Semitic excesses occurred yesterday at Radoaia, near Belz, in connection with the election campaign of a Cuzist candidate for the Senate, Novitzki.

The Cuzists demolished the houses of the Jews, destroyed their shops and scattered their merchandise on the streets. Then they proceeded to inflict bodily injury, attacking Jewish women and children as well as men.

Among theose severely injured are Sudel Savovic, Idel Schwarzman, Moise Kira, Favel Kaufman and Baruch Rols.

The police came on the scene only two hours after the attacks had begun. Several Cuzists were arrested.
