The anti-Semitic National Democratic party has organized a strong campaign of opposition to the government with regard to its intention of making slight modifications in the Sunday compulsory closing law.

The Party has organized mass meetings and its press organs against the proposed modification. As a result it is now rumored that the planned publication of the decree will be postponed by the government.

The campaign has been organized despite the fact, as the Jewish press points out, that ninety percent of Jewish trading will be unimproved by the concessions proposed.

The new decree, it is stated, would permit trading for several hours on Sunday morning by food stores, florists, tobacconists and traders in perishable products.
