Chief Rabbi Hevesty has wired Premier Julius Gomboes thanking him for his recent declaration in Parliament regarding his attitude toward the Jews.

On October 11, Premier Gomboes, formerly leader of an anti-Semitic party, disavowed anti-Semitism, declaring that he considers as a Hungarian brother every Jew who shares in the common fate of Hungary.
