Left wing Jewish elements yesterday broke up a lecture meeting addressed by Zerubbabel, prominent Zionist leader of Poland, at the Jewish Center.

Police had to be summoned to restore order. The lecture was called off and the auditorium cleared of the 900 persons present.

An account of what transpired was handed over to the Military Commandant. It is now feared that further lectures by Zerubbabel will be barred.

The left wing elements demanded to know why the Zwisho, central Jewish school organization of Poland, is dismissing teachers who belong to the Left wing and why Zerubbabel described nothing of the life of the working masses in Poland.

Zerubbabel is in Cuba in the interests of the Zwisho and it is believed that his campaign may be injured by last night’s happenings.
