Pennsylvania National Council Elects Officers

Mrs. Gilbert G. Jacobosky of this city was elected president of the Pennsylvania Section of the National Council of Jewish Women at the eleventh meeting of the section held here.

Other officers elected were Mrs. Maurice Davis, Pittsburgh, vice president; Mrs. Chester Bandman, Pittsburgh, treasurer; Mrs. E. Lester Man, Scranton, recording secretary; Mrs. Nat Meyer, Wilkes-Barre, correspondent secretary. The following were elected directors: Mrs. Lillian Geisenberger, York; Mrs. Schechter, Corapolis; Mrs. Nate Dunn, Sharon.

Addresses were delivered at the conference by Mrs. Alice Liveright, head of the Department of Welfare of the State of Pennsylvania; Mr. Ewan Clague, chairman of the Community Council of Philadelphia; Dr. Martha Tracy, Dean of the Women’s Medical College of Philadelphia; Dr. Jay B. Nash, chairman of the Department of Education of New York University.
