Hillel Zlatopolski, prominent Zionist leader and one of the founders of the Palestine Foundation Fund, was fired upon twice today by an assailant whose identity as yet remains unknown.
M. Zlatopolski was immediately taken to a hospital where an operation was performed. He is said to be in a satisfactory condition. The shooting is believed to have taken place as the result of a business misunderstanding.
