A testimonial dinner will be tendered Bernard S. Deutsch, president of the American Jewish Congress, on January 22nd at the Hotel Commodore.
United States Attorney George Z. Medalie is Chairman of the Dinner Committee, and Hon. Mark Eisner, Vice-Chairman.
The dinner is being arranged in honor of Mr. Deutsch’s services to the Jewish community and his civic service as well.
The thirty-sixth anniversary dinner and dance of the Home of the Daughters of Jacob will be held this evening at the Hotel Astor. Borough President Samuel Levy will preside.
