Cincinnati’s Jewish Welfare Fund Campaign has been brought to a close with a total subscription which exceeds $80,000, according to an announcement made by Alfred M. Cohen, General Chairman.

The leaders of this year’s campaign, recognizing the unusual obstacles which they would have to overcome, were successful in carrying out their plans of seeing every possible prospect. Only 200 possible givers were not reached by this year’s workers.

The following officers were elected for the Bridgeport Division of the American Jewish Congress: Samuel Mellitz, President; Bernard H. Trager and Mrs. Joseph G. Shapiro, Vice-Presidents; Sol Rosenzweig, Secretary, and Samuel Carp, Treasurer. The Administrative Committee of the Bridgeport Division will consist of the elected officers and the representatives designated by the constitutent organizations.
