Detroit chapter of Hadassah, at a donor luncheon held here, announced that the sum of $10,000 was raised, 500 women having contributed or raised $20 each.
Mrs. Samuel W. Halprin of New York, national president of Hadassah, was the principal speaker at the luncheon, which was also featured by a play, “The Quest,” written by Mrs. Harry L. Jackson, former president of Detroit Hadassah.
