March 4th, 1924. In Hungary, under the Horthy regime, it is recommended that drawing, caligraphy and manual work should not be imposed on Jewish pupils on Saturdays and Jewish festivals. Even in Prussia, there is an ordinance by the Ministry of Education to the same effect, which did not rouse any opposition, not even the Hitlerists protesting against it.
