Hebrew Ladies Free Loan Society Marks 20th Year

The Hebrew Ladies’ Free Loan Society, believed to be the only one of its kind in the United States operated by women, this year is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. It was founded in June, 1913, by the late Mrs. Jennie Friedman.

Officers for 1933 are Mrs. Rose Steinfield, President; Mrs. S. Mosler, First Vice-President; Mrs. U. M. Schain, Second Vice-President; Mrs. H. Schneider, Treasurer; Mrs. M. Edelson, Recording Secretary; and Miss Dora Zeeve Financial Secretarv. All are veteran workers in the organization and well known in women’s club centers.
