The Manchester Guardian is the single English newspaper which refers directly to the Jewish question in the press comments on Hitler’s Chancellorship.
The paper queries whether Hitler plans to carry out the program against the Jews which he had preached before he came into power and whether he really intends to drive the Jews from the country and distribute their wealth and property among the impoverished middle classes.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
