Dr. Julian J. Oberman has been appointed Visiting Professor of Semitic Languages at Yale University. He is to teach at the Graduate School in the forthcoming Spring semester. As has been announced, Professor Obermann has recently withdrawn from the Jewish Institute of Religion, to which he had been called in 1923 from the University of Hamburg.
