Almost fully 100 per cent. of the Jewish children in the Ukraine, White Russia and Crimea come into the scope of the school system, says the latest report of the Jewish School Section of the Ministry of Education.
There are in Soviet Russia at present, it states, more than 1,200 Jewish elementary schools, 59 technical schools, 10 Jewish sections in State pedagogic and scientific institutions, museums and archives, and over 600 Jewish clubs and reading rooms.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
