An Italian Archaeological Mission, consisting of Prof. Guiseppe Furliani and Prof. Doro Levi, from the University of Florence, and Count Franco, has left for Mesopotamia. This mission will carry out excavations in Upper Iraq, on the borders of Kurdistan, which forms the site of the castle of the biblical Sennacherib.
The Jewish professor, Doro Levi, is the discoverer and excavator of the ancient Greek village of Harkades, and, in spite of his youth, he is already well-known in the scientific world.
