According to a decision of the court here, marriage brokers, or (shadchonim), are not entitled to any commission in Palestine. This ruling was given in a case brought before the court by a marriage broker against a young couple. The court ruled that since there is no such thing as a special license for practicing marriage brokerage in Palestine, the case should be dismissed.
