A collection of paintings, sculpture, furniture and Chinese porcelain presented to the Brooklyn Museum of Art by the executors of the estate of the late Colonel Michael Friedsam, president of B. Altman & Co., was placed on exhibition and opened to the public yesterday.
The Brooklyn Museum of Art is one of five art institutions which benefit under the will of the late Colonel Friedsam.
