Hitlerism to Be Condemned by Federation of Churches and Interfaith Committee

Catholic and Protestant leaders of the Greater New York Federation of Churches and the Interfaith Committee have decided to utter a protest on behalf of the Christians of America against the anti-Jewish terrorism, which has become a feature of the Hitler regime.

Clerical and lay leaders of the Greater New York Federation of Churches have been in conference with former Governor Alfred E. Smith; Bishop William T. Manning; Rev. Dr. William B. Millar, Executive Secretary of the Federation of Churches, a Protestant Organization, and Charles H. Tuttle, Chairman of the Interfaith Committee, which comprises Catholics and Protestants, have prepared the draft of a protest which will be submitted for signature to prominent Christians, who will sign it, after which it will be made public.
