An unconfirmed report prevalent here is to the effect that Walter Schaeffer, Chief Engineer of the Reich Radio, and his wife, have committed suicide.

According to a report in the “Voelkischer Beobachter” on March 15, Schaeffer, who was an Jew had been dismissed from his post and forbidden to re-enter the radio station again.
