Commencing with the issue of Sunday, April 23rd, the Jewish Daily Bulletin will issue an enlarged Sunday edition. The page size will be more than double the present size of the Bulletin and it will be from eight to twelve pages.
Harry Salpeter, well-known New York writer, will be the editor.
Mr. Salpeter was for seven years connected with the New York World, where he was literary critic and feature writer. He is the author of a biographical essay, “Dr. Johnson and Mr. Boswell.” He has conducted several series of radio talks on books. Since leaving the World he has written free lance articles for such magazines as the Atlantic Monthly, Scribner’s, Vanity Fair, Current History, and Opinion, among others.
The week-end edition will contain a vivid and accurate reflection of the manifold activities of the Jews in the United States and in other parts of the world.
Future issues of the Jewish Daily Bulletin will carry additional details concerning the contributors and the special features which are being devised to attract and hold the Bulletin’s growing audience.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
