Professor Moritz J. Bonn, famous scholar, resigned today from the Berlin Institute of Trade of which he was the head. He is one of the best known economists in Germany.

Prof. Bonn is also known in the United States, where he taught at the University of California in Berkeley, at the University of Wisconsin and at Cornell in 1915 and 1916. He was one of the experts for Germany at Versailles and later attended also the Reparations Conference. He lectured at the Institute of Politics in Williamstown. He is a members of the European board of the Carnegie Foundation and is the author of a considerable number of books dealing with economic and political questions, among them “America’s Enemy,” 1917; “America and Its Problems,” 1925; “The Fate of Capitalism,” etc. He is considered a particular expert on Colonial, political and international financial problems.
