An indirect but nevertheless disastrous attack upon Jewish hotel and restaurant keepers is contained in the new government announcement requesting police to report all such establishmetns that charge high prices. No standard of “high prices” is stated, but the penalty is closing down of the business.

A revision of pawnshop licenses, and their withdrawal from Jews, was also announced today.
