State Secretary Von Rohr today requested the Minister of the Interior to prohibit the importation of kosher meat. Since the Nazis have forbidden slaughter of meat according to Jewish ritual, some importation of kosher meat from Denmark has been organized. At first, it was announced that any such importation would have to be conducted through Nazi firms. The latest decision, to altogether bar such imports, declares that the commerce in kosher meat is injurious to German industry.
