Moses Cyrus Weller, a student at the Hebrew Union College, will sail for Johannesburg, South Africa, shortly after his ordination as rabbi on May 27th to become the spiritual leader of the Jewish Religious Union, a Reform group already established there. The Jewish Religious Union is a member of the World Union for Progressive Judaism with headquarters in London, England. Mr. Weiler’s new pulpit will mark the fourth continent on which graduates of the Hebrew Union College are officiating.
