Seek to Raise German Question in Washington

Members of Congress will be asked to raise the question in Washington of protection of the Jews in Germany, it was decided here Sunday by delegates from its lodges to a conference of the Independent Order Brith Abraham at the Hotel Pennsylvania. The action was proposed by Israel Apfel, grand master of the fraternity. Max L. Hollander, Nathan D. Perlman, Harris L. Selig and Rabbi Bernard Stolper also addressed the meeting which voted support of the HIAS efforts to aid German Jewish refugees.
