Jewish Girl Winner of Detroit Spelling Bee

For the second year in succession a Jewish girl has won the Detroit News Metropolitan Spelling Bee. There were 62 spellers in the final contest.

Ruth Tenenbaum was the victor in the finals and will represent Metropolitan Detroit in the national finals at Washington.
