The Government subsidy for maintaining the pensions of rabbis and allowances for their widows have been cancelled for the current year according to the order of Minister of Education for Prussia, Bernhard Rust, the Berlin municipality announced today.

Jewish boys and girls in the public schools will not in future obtain any reduction in school fees as long as the number of Jewish pupils in the public schools exceeds one percent. Only the mayor of the city is empowered to fix the time when the reductions for Jewish children might be resumed.
