A Palestinian “talkie” company to produce Jewish films was formed here recently, with American and Palestinian capitalists participating. In the first film to be produced within a very short time, Joseph Rosenblatt, the well known American Cantor, now in Palestine, and his son are to portray the leading roles. This follows closely upon the release of the “Return of Nathan Becker”, an all Jewish “talkie” made in Soviet Russia and shown all over the world.
