World Conference Asked to Help Right Wrong Done to Jews

The World Economic Conference opening here Monday is urged to consider the position of the Jews of Germany by the London Jewish Chronicle, influential Anglo-Jewish weekly, in an editorial in yesterday’s issue of the publication.

Pointing to the “process of Jewish annihilation with brutality and indignity,” the Chronicle declares. “If the conference wants to revive commerce but at the same time ignore this strangling, devilish tyranny, they must remember that an honorable trade relationship is not born in a human shambles. Before the statesmen try to make the world safe for trade, they must make it safe for liberty.

“The fall in German trade is undoubtedly due partly to a powerful Jewish boycott which will certainly be intensified as the destruction of the Jews proceeds.
