Governor Herbert H. Lehman was the recipient of an honorary degree of Doctor of Humane Letters at the second annual commencement exercises of Yeshiva College, Amsterdam Avenue and 186th Street, yesterday afternoon.
Dr. John H. Finley, associate editor of the New York Times, also received the same honorary degree. Both candidates were presented by Samuel Levy, Manhattan Borough President and chairman of the council of Yeshiva College.
Following addresses by Governor Lehman, Dr. Finley and Mr. Levy, other speeches were made by Dr. Harlan H. Horner, Assistant Commissioner of Education in the University of the State of New York, and Dr. Bernard Revel, president of the faculty of Yeshiva College.
The graduates were presented for the degree of Bachelor of Arts by Shelley R. Safir, professor of biology and dean of the faculty. Nine members of the class were graduated with honors.

Summa Cum Laude—Abraham S. Guterman.
Magna Cum Laude—Jacob Agushewitz, Hyman Israel, Nathan Jacobson.
Cum Laude—Aaron Dector, Meyer Eskowitz, Aaron S. Feinerman. Israel E. Friedman, Leo Podolsky.
Other Graduates—Philip Brand, Isaac Goldberg, Sidney Green, Sidney Nissenbaum, Hirschel Revel, Norman Revel.
