The appointment of Allie S. Freed, president of the Paramount Motors Corporation, as associate chairman of the German Relief Campaign of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, was announced yesterday by Dudley D. Sicher, chairman of the New York City campaign. Mr. Sicher also stated that contributions totalling $45,000 have been added to the $1,000,000 fund being raised in New York City, bringing the total to date to $295,000.
