Alonzo Stagg to Referee Jewish Games at Chicago

Coach Amos Alonzo Stagg, football coach at the University of Chicago for the last forty years, has agreed to act as head referee at the Jewish Youth Athletic Tournament which will be held in connection with the Jewish Day of the Century of Progress Exposition here next Sunday afternoon.

Three thousand young men and women, including many city, state and national record holders, have already been enrolled for the preliminary tourneys which will be held simultaneously at Chase Park, Ogden Park and Douglas Park tomorrow. The final events will be run off in Douglas Park on Sunday.
