Serious anti-Semitic disturbances broke out in Frankfurt-am-Main, Germany, over the week-end, it was learned here. Thousands of Nazi demonstrators paraded through the streets with shouts of “Kill the Jews, Close Jewish stores!” which were picked up and amplified by loud-speakers.

Spectators who did not take off their hats when the procession went by, were set upon and badly beaten in the presence of the police who failed to interfere.
