Two hundred and twenty-five German-Jewish children, chiefly from the Rhine district, arrived in Holland today, to stay with Dutch Jewish families for the time being.
The racial laws put into effect by the Hitler regime have worked hardships not only on the adults but also on the children. As children of Jews they are the objects of discriminations that make life very hard for them. Movements are on foot in many countries by Jewish individuals and organizations to take the children out of Germany and put them into a wholesome environment.
