The newspaper A Gazeta, which has several times in the past carried attacks against Jews, seems to have had a change of editorial heart. It is now printing articles praising the Jews and retracting virtually all its former adverse statements about them.
Your correspondent learns that the new policy was adopted after a sharp exchange of opinion by the more important members of the editorial staff. The outstanding opponent of the change was Stapinski, a Pole, who was responsible for the anti-Jewish articles which formerly appeared in A Gazeta.
