The hearing in the case of the arrested Revisionists, Abraham Stavsky, Zvi Rosenblatt, Aba Achimeir and Yehuda Minz, was resumed here today with a sensational announcement by Public Prosecutor Shitrit that in view of the new evidence received by the prosecutor’s office, he withdrew the charges against Minz.

The 19-year-old Brith Trumpeldorite left the court room joyfully after shaking hands with the three remaining defendants.

The Prosecutor in his address charged that Achimeir “firstly conspired with Stavsky and Rosenblatt to murder Dr. Arlosoroff and secondly aided, counselled and procured Stavsky and Rosenblatt to commit the murder of Dr. Arlosoroff.”

Yehuda Minz, member of the Revisionist youth organization, was arrested after the murder of Dr. Arlosoroff and Mrs. Sima Arlosoroff, widow of the murdered man, stated that she believed that she had seen him running from the scene when she ran to get help for her husband and to notify the police.

When the hearing of the accused before a magistrate began some time ago, little attention was paid to Minz by the Prosecutor although Major Stafford, assistant superintendent of the Jaffa police, said that he would produce several witnesses who saw Minz running on the beach immediately after the murder.

The evidence against Achimeir in connection with the charges of complicity in the murder of Dr. Arlosoroff will be supplied to the court tomorrow, the prosecutor declared. The court adjourned after the reading of the earlier evidence of previous witnesses in accordance with the required procedure, since Achimeir is now officially included among the accused.

Achimeir questioned Dr. Alotin, Mrs. Arlosoroff and Captain Rice, chief of the criminal investigation department. Captain Rice stated that evidence was taken from Dr. Arlosoroff just prior to his death by a policeman who will be called a### witness. The evidence disclosed that no attempt was made to ro### Dr. Arlosoroff. At the time h### was killed he had about $300 on h### person which was later given his widow.
