Lansing, Mich., Organizes Jewish Congregation

The organization of a new Jewish congregation in Lansing has been completed. It will be known as the Congregation Beth El. Rabbi David I. Cedarbaum of New York City, is the spiritual head of the new congregation.

Officers of the new synagogue are: Alex Cohen, president; Louis Simon, vice-president; Sanford Tonken, secretary, and Sam Rappaport, treasurer.

Rabbi Cedarbaum is a graduate of the Hebrew Union College of Cincinnati and received degrees from the College of the City of New York and Columbia University.
