Bernhard Rust, Minister of Education, issued instructions today that for the new school year all concessions issued to Jews or the descendants of Jews for the maintenance of private schools must be liquidated. Only Aryans, he declared, are entitled to obtain such concessions. However, schools where only Jewish children are taught remain unaffected by the order.
Another order issued at the same time, makes it compulsory for every pupil, including Jewish, to study “racial science”, which becomes a compulsory subject in the school curriculum like mathematics, and in addition the pupils must undergo examinations in the new “science.”
