The Vaad Leumi, the Jewish National Council of Palestine, today issued through the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, and appeal to Jews throughout the world for the Keren Kayemeth campaign to build the Ussishkin village, in honor of the veteran Zionist leader, M. M. Ussishkin.
The decision to build the Ussishkin village was taken during a special session of the Eighteenth Zionist Congress at Prague, on the occasion of the seventieth birthday of the veteran Zionist head of the Jewish National Fund.
