The swastika flag was hoisted today over the tower of one of the Jewish synagogues in Vienna. Nazi hoodlums penetrated also the interior of the synagogue, where they demolished doors and windows and the “esrath noshim,” the women’s gallery.
Police efforts to trace the vandals have so far proven unsuccessful.
