Walter Haag, designated by “Mr. X”, who testified before the Congressional committee investigating Nazi activities in the United States, as the writer of an official dispatch to Berlin offices of the N.S.D.A.P., will testify today before the federal grand jury here, it was disclosed yesterday.

Haag, who denies authorship of the letter before the Dickstein committee, has been an organizer of the League of Friends of New Germany, a Hitlerite organization.

Today’s interrogation of Haag will be concerned with his relations with Heinz Spanknoebel, head of the Nazi organization here who disappeared a month ago simultaneously with the issuance of a warrant for his arrest. It is believed the grand jury which indicted Spanknoebel is considering further indictments.
