Conversions to Catholicism among Jews include many in the city of Antwerp, Belgium, according to the Belgian correspondent of the National Catholic Welfare Conference News Service.
“The conversions among Jews now being recorded in many European countries, particularly in large cities, include many in this city, where the Ladies of Sion conduct a boarding and day school,” he writes.
“The apostolate among the Jews here is similar to that being carried on in London by the Rev. Arthur Day, S. J., who cooperates with the Fathers of Sion, who have their headquarters at the convent of Our Lady of Sion, in London. The Catholic Guild of Israel was founded in London, in 1917, on the very day that Jerusalem was taken by the British troops.”
