A special stamp with the inscription “Nordseebad Is Free from Jews” has been issued by the local administration of the island of Norderney, popular North Sea resort, which formally barred Jews last summer. Previously, it had been very popular among Jews as a seaside resort. The Norderney officials circularized the inhabitants of the island with the request that they affix the stamps whenever writing to friends or on business.
The stamp was also sent to Jewish newspapers all over Germany with the request that they warn their readers not to come to Nordseebad, because they will be immediately deported.
