A Chanukah celebration and musicale sponsored by all Brooklyn Hadassah groups was held on Tuesday evening, December 12th, at the Brooklyn Jewish Center, 667 Eastern Parkway. The proceeds of this affair go to the Infant Welfare Fund which provides for all child welfare work in Palestine. Mr. Abraham Hertzson entertained with dramatic readings pertaining to Chanukah, and a musical program was rendered by the well known artist, Madam Shomer Rothenberg. Rabbi Harry Halpern spoke.
Midwood Group gave a Dutch supper and dance at the East Midwood Jewish Center.
Boro Park ladies luncheon was held at Menorah Building.
The Bedford Group of Hadassah gave a linen shower and bridge at 1338 President Street.
