A book of short stories describing life among the Jews of Russia and Poland at the time of the World War was recently issued by the Renacimiento publishing house.
The book, “De Vuelta del Frente” (Back from the Front), by S. Turteltaub, is the third book with a Jewish theme to be published in Chile. The other two are “Paradojas”, by Dr. N. Berman and “Sonia la Peletera” by Mrs. B. Singer.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
