The Jewish party failed to elect any of its candidates in the Roumanian parliamentary election, today’s late returns showed. The Jewish party received only thirty thousand votes. However, Friedrich Michelson, the Czernowitz Jewish leader, was elected on the Liberal ticket.

The two anti-Semitic parties succeeded in retaining approximately the same number of seats which they held in the last parliament. The list, headed by Professor Alexander Cuza, aided by Iron Guardists, received over eighty thousand votes and elected ten deputies. Octavian Goga’s anti-Semitic party elected eight deputies. The Liberal Party obtained 303 seats in the Parliament.
