Julius Deutsch, leader of the Socialist def nse troops, arrived here on his way to Paris from the Floridsdorf front, which he left when his forces capitulated to the Dollfuss government.

Deutsch was wounded in the head and in an arm. Otto Bauer, veteran Socialist leader, was with Deutsch.

WOMEN’S FEBERATION TO ELECT WEDNESDAY

Federation of Jewish Women’s Organizations, Inc., of which Mrs. David E. Goldfarb is president, will hold its regular monthly meeting Wednesday morning at Congregation Emanu-El, 1 East 65th street.

Organizations which have been added as constituents since the convention are-Junior league of the Free Shoe Fund; Ladies’ Aux the Jewish Center of University Heights, and the Society for the Advancement of Judaism.

MACCABI HEAD APPOINTED TO HOME SAVING GROUP

Nathan L. Goldstein, president of the United States Maccabi Association, is on the commuttee of forty appointed by Aldermanic President Bernard S. Deutsch to arbitrate and adjust differences between mortgagess and home owers in order to prevent foreclosures. Other members includs Samuel B. Pollack, Louis S. Posner, Mazimilian Morgenthau, Benjamin Winter, Aaron Rabinowitz, Paul Abelson, Nathan D. Shapiro and Ira Sobol.
