Attacks mad by the Local anti-Semittic Press on the exiled German Jewish scholar, Professor Hugo Sinzheimer, who was alleged to have propagndixed for Socialimsm in his inugural speect at the University of Amterdam, were roundly scored by leading Dutch Jurist. Professor Sinzheimer occupies the chair of Juridical Sociology at the niversity.
In the Dutch Juristic Jurnal, Mynheer de Gaay Fortman, declared that the attacks wre ”unjustified and unfair.” Crities should have been delighted that a man with Dr. Sinzheimer’s knowlege of labor law consented to lach in a Dutch university when Nazi desponism himdered the continuation of his work in Gernany,” the writer declared.
