The newly-formed Syracuse Zionist District, with nearly 300 affiliates, held a luncheon rally at which Alexander Holstein, vice-president of the organization, urged a com-plecte campaign of the Jewish community in Syracuse, Plans were made to reach a goal of 1,000members.
Several years ago the Zionist District in Syracuse was strong and prominent in local and national Jewish sctivities. Howevr until recently, the organization had been dormant for three years.
